Marie Miyashiro


Marie is president and chief facilitation officer at Arizona-based Elucity Network, Inc., a consulting and training firm that specializes in supporting organizations and communities do their best thinking together. She speaks, writes, and consults on collaboration, communication, and change in teams and multi-stakeholder groups. Guiding organizations and leaders for decades, Marie transforms workplaces bottom up to top down. She designs and facilitates uncommonly transformative and enjoyable conversations that matter.

Her book, “The Empathy Factor – Your Competitive Advantage for Personal, Team, and Business Success” was published by PuddleDancer Press in 2011. Endorsements for it come from business leaders like Jim Hayes, former publisher of FORTUNE magazine to academic deans and faculty as well as nonprofit leaders. Marie holds a degree in communication studies from Northwestern University. She is accredited by the New York-based Public Relations Society of America and is also certified in planning by the International Association for Public Participation.
